Henry Cavill and Natalie Viscuso began 2025 with the arrival of their first child, a moment of pure joy for the couple. Although marriage isn’t on the horizon yet, their step into parenthood has already become a defining part of their story.
But Natalie’s journey hasn’t been without heartache. Her parents separated as a child. And her mother, the person Natalie held closest to her heart, faced a brave but heartbreaking battle with cancer. What else do we know more about her family’s story? Here we are with the untold details.
Who Are Natalie Viscuso’s Parents?
Viscuso is the daughter of Michael and Tammie Kay Baumann, a couple whose lives followed very different paths after their relationship ended after her birth.
Michael, known for his days as a nightclub mogul, brought a touch of glamour and opportunity into Natalie’s early years. His connections in the entertainment world even led to her appearance on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. But Michael’s ambitions didn’t stop there. He pivoted to the cybersecurity industry, joining the board of Prevailion through his work with Legion Capital Partners, leaving behind the nightlife for a completely different venture.
Tammie, meanwhile, pursued a creative and determined career path of her own. A graduate of Ursuline Academy and Hillcrest in Dallas, Tammie spent years working in architecture before becoming a lobbyist for the Texas Association of Architects.
Later, driven by her desire to be close to her daughter, Natalie, Tammie relocated to California and launched her own firm, Expedite LA. She then focused on helping builders navigate the complexities of permits and documentation.
Viscuso’s Mother Died Of Cancer
Natalie faced an unimaginable loss when her mother, Tammie Kay Baumann, passed away on October 27, 2017. For seven grueling months, Tammie fought a rare and aggressive cancer called epithelioid angiosarcoma—a disease with no known cause or cure, and fewer than 70 documented cases worldwide.
Despite the devastating diagnosis, Tammie remained spiritual and hopeful. Living in Los Angeles at the time, her daughter Natalie stood by her, doing everything She could to bring comfort and hope during an uncertain and painful journey.
In a heartfelt effort to support her mother’s fight, Natalie launched a crowdfunding page, which raised over $19,000. On the page, Henry’s partner shared the heartbreaking reality of her mother’s condition, writing, “Over the past few months my mother, Tammie Kay, has been fighting a ferocious battle against one of the most rare and destructive cancers known to man.” She described her mother as only 53 years old, with so much life left to live, pleading for help to give her a fighting chance.

Though Tammie is no longer here, her presence remains deeply felt in Natalie’s life. She continues to honor her mother’s memory by sharing touching tributes on social media, keeping her spirit alive through words and photos.
